Changelog
What's new in Dispatchly
Product updates, new features, and fixes — in plain English.
Invoicing & card payments
Build an itemized invoice on any job and get paid by card through Stripe. Send the customer a secure pay-now link by text or email — the money is deposited straight into your own account. Download a branded PDF invoice, or save one as a reusable template.
Analytics & revenue reports
The analytics page now shows revenue by service and by technician, average ticket, repeat-customer rate, review trends, and this-period-vs-last comparisons — plus a monthly revenue goal with live progress. Included on Pro and Enterprise.
Automated review requests
A review-request text now goes out automatically the moment a job is marked complete — whether you or a technician closes it — with a simple on/off switch in Reviews.
Job templates
Save common jobs, with their line items, as templates and start a new job from one in a single click.
Faster dashboard, jobs board & more
Fixed a rendering issue that was slowing the dashboard on every load, added a kanban jobs board and a schedule calendar, technician roles and permissions, and a dedicated Payments view.
Google Reviews — automatic, gated
When a job is marked complete, your customer automatically gets a text asking how things went. Customers who give you 4 or 5 stars are sent straight to your Google review page. Customers who rate 1–3 stars are prompted for private feedback that goes directly to you — it never reaches Google. Set your review link once in Settings → Profile.
Reviews dashboard
A new Reviews tab in your sidebar shows every customer rating in one place — average score, star breakdown, positive rate, and any private feedback from unhappy customers. Negative ratings are flagged "Needs attention" so nothing slips through.
Homepage refresh
"Early access" and "beta" language is gone. You'll now see "limited spots available" and "founding customers" language throughout. The homepage also has a live SMS demo showing a real back-and-forth customer conversation, a customer testimonial, and a clearer call-out that two-way messaging is included on every plan.
SMS is included — no extra cost
We've clarified the FAQ and pricing page: SMS is included in your plan. No usage meters, no add-ons, no surprises.
Settings cleaned up
Removed the toll-free verification section — we're on A2P 10DLC, so that UI was just clutter. The Google review link now lives in Settings → Profile where it's easy to find, with step-by-step instructions for getting your link from Google Business Profile.
Completion rate chart and photo proof card
The weekly completion rate chart bars weren't rendering — fixed. The photo proof card now shows real before/during/after illustrations instead of abstract color blocks.
14-day free trial
14-day free trial with a 60-day data-retention grace period after expiration — your data stays safe while you decide.
Notifications inbox
Notifications inbox at /notifications with mark-all-read and date grouping so you never miss an update.
Real-time dashboard fallback
The real-time dashboard now falls back to polling when a WebSocket subscription is unavailable — no blank screens on flaky connections.
Release-number flow
Added a clean flow for releasing your Twilio number from Settings when you no longer need it.
Unified job status design
List and detail views now share the exact same status colors and labels — no more wondering if "In Progress" and "Working" are the same thing.
Dark mode
Dark mode pass across settings, jobs, technicians, and the tech portal.
Annual billing option
Monthly/annual billing toggle on the pricing page — switch to annual and save ~17%.
Per-business customer portal branding
Customer portals now support per-business branding — set your primary color, logo, and tagline once and every portal reflects your brand.
Per-job customer link
Each job gets a unique customer link with a 90-day expiration so customers always have secure, timely access to their job details.
Technician PIN authentication
PIN-protected access for the mobile tech portal — no passwords to manage, no shared logins.
Status timeline attribution
The status timeline now shows which technician made each update and any notes they added alongside each transition.
Recurring jobs
Schedule weekly, monthly, or quarterly visits and Dispatchly creates the job automatically — no manual repeat booking.
Service area mapping
Define your radius and named cities; jobs booked outside your area are flagged with a warning before dispatch.
Dispatchly v2
Complete rewrite with multi-tech support, a real-time dashboard, and Twilio sub-account isolation per business. The foundation everything else is built on.
